Patented Heat Trapping Design

Easy Life Hot Tubs has engineered a patented system that maximizes energy efficiency, keeps the unit lightweight and is easy to maintain.

1. The TemperLOK™ system begins with 3/4" insulating foam panels layerd with a reflective thermal barrier on each cabinet wall. This provides insulation for the spa and keeps air from transferring in and out of the spa.

2. To increase the hot tubs' longevity, each model has a strong ABS plastic base which protects the hot tub from outside elements.  A 1" layer of foam lines the base, a plywood base is then placed on top of this foam to provide support for the spa, and a reflective thermal barrier lines the plywood to prevent heat from transferring within the spa cavity.

3. A rubberized gasket then seals the side panels to the spa shell creating a closed cavity trapping equipment waste heat.

The heat produced by the equipment is locked into the air tight cavity and recycled back into the hot tub.  With TemperLOK™, your hot tub is using free heat which in return decreases operating costs!

OTHER spas may use foam-filled cavities as insulation. This technique wastes pump operating heat and makes the units very heavy; installation difficult and service expensive. Technicians are forced to spend hours digging through foam to reach a problem, leaving you with a costly service call and a spa with no insulation. In addition, foam-filled spas actually rely on their foam for structural strength.

OUR spa shells are backed with just enough urethane foam for effective insulation, while getting their strength from multiple layers of fiberglass.
